Irwell Valley currently operates area within Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, and Lancashire.
Additional partnership housing and regeneration opportunities outside of this “core” operating area will be considered on their merits and their contribution to both Irwell Valley’s growth ambitions, as well as business and service efficiency.
Irwell Valley will pursue wider consultancy service partnerships throughout the whole of the UK, as well as Europe and America, or in any region where it can be demonstrated that additional income, reputation and brand recognition will be achieved.
To ensure that Irwell Valley can deliver its new partner goals, strategic analysis of new operating areas will be undertaken regularly.
It is intended that Irwell Valley’s initial stock growth will be targeted throughout the North West and surrounding areas. We aim to:
- Develop a minimum of 200 new, affordable homes per annum, and in turn, promote our leading Housing Corporation PPA status.
- Develop a range of non-grant funded opportunities with private house builders.
- Secure partnerships with other innovative RSLs.
- Secure one North West PFI (Private Finance Initiative).
Irwell Valley’s new partnership operating area will enable the company to become the major provider of high quality affordable housing in the North West. It will also enable us to target beneficial regeneration and service excellence partnerships throughout neighbouring areas.
