We understand that by listening to our customers and taking action on your feedback it makes us more accountable to you. Customer involvement underpins all we do at Irwell Valley and all colleagues work jointly with Customers as partners in order to improve neighbourhoods and services.
With the benefit of your involvement we aim to increase your satisfaction with your home, neighbourhood and the services we provide. Through listening and feeding back to you we hope to build a good, solid relationship with you, one built on our core values of honesty, dignity, respect and trust.
We offer a diverse variety of involvement opportunities to our residents and all our customers. Opportunities to get involved are outlined in our
Keeping our Ear to the Ground document, which is our Customer Involvement Statement and offers a level of involvement to suit everyone, from attending a focus group to becoming a resident board member.
Fantastic opportunity to have your views taken into account.
Irwell Valley is looking for customers to join its new Operations Committee and Residents Panel. Members will be required to monitor the Irwell Valley services and help achieve our aim of ‘creating conditions in which customers and colleagues can enjoy living and working and realise their full potential.’
If you’re enthusiastic, diplomatic, and have the confidence to ask questions, then we’d love to hear from you. Applicants should also be good communicators, enjoy working as part of a team and be able to adhere to confidentiality policies.
As a member, you’ll be expected to attend four meetings a year and be prepared to go on relevant training courses.
If you’re interested please contact the Customer Involvement Officer Maria Garnett on 0161 610 4724 or e-mail
maria.garnett@irwellvalleyha.co.uk
Successful applicants will be invited to an informal recruitment event to find out more and a selection meeting will take place.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make sure your views are taken into account and help us provide services right first time, every time.

Service Excellence Forums
To get your feedback on our services, Irwell Valley has set up several Service Excellence Forums, which allow residents to give comments and alter how we work. In the past, residents have helped us select new gas servicing and repairs contractors that deliver an improved service.
For more information on our Service Excellence Forums, contact Alicia Littlewood on 0161 610 4792.
Join a Tenants and Residents Association (TARA)
A TARA is a group set up and run by residents, which aims to make an impact on their neighbourhood. There are currently eight active TARAs within our neighbourhoods, which receive support from Irwell Valley to help them meet their training and funding needs.
