Irwell Valley is a top rate organisation according to the influential CRF/Guardian list of Britain’s Top
Employers for 2008.
The criteria that CRF – world leaders in identifying top business performers - uses in its survey combine the best in professional HR practice and the qualities that employees look for in a great employer. The criteria are Pay & Benefits; Career Opportunity and Training; Knowledge Management; Employee Relations; Diversity; Leadership; Corporate Social Responsibility; and Environmental Sustainability.
All the companies selected were judged and rated by an independent panel of experts for their leading-edge approaches to communicating with employees, improving productivity and mobilising people for competitive advantage.
The panel singled out the Association’s Gold Service, which has been endorsed by Government, its ‘unique approach to looking after staff’ and its exceptional commitment to diversity and corporate social responsibility. It’s the second consecutive year that Irwell Valley has been included in the annual list, which is published in conjunction with Guardian Books.
