Irwell Valley has ten Neighbourhood Officers who work across our communities. Each Neighbourhood Officer has been provided with an Irwell Valley branded Smart car, fully equipped with the latest hand-held technology, which allows the Neighbourhood Officers to work in the community on a day-to-day basis. They also wear fully branded corporate clothing, which can be easily identified by residents.

Our Neighbourhood Officers work to an appointment system, but encourage residents to discuss any issues or concerns when they see them in their area.

Neighbourhood Officers carry out a neighbourhood inspection every month, which allows them to identify any external repairs and report any issues that are concerning the community.
