Radcliffe
Radcliffe in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, is about 2 miles south-west of Bury, 5 miles south-east of Bolton, and 8 miles north-west of Manchester.

Included within the area are Chapel Field and Outwood in the south, Ainsworth and Starling in the far north, Bradley Fold in the west, and Black Lane in the near north.
Leisure
There are a variety of parks, outdoor activities, and recreational locations in the Radcliffe area including the Irwell Sculpture Trail, Outwood Park, Skatepark, and walking / cycling trails.

Close Park has amenities for bowling, tennis, football and other outdoor activities and
Coronation Park has a croquet lawn.

Bolton Road Park is especially popular as a location for sports.

Coney Green Sports Centre on Spring Lane is one of the six sports facilities in the borough designed to provide sporting opportunities for all sections of the community. The centre has a sports hall, gym and a floodlit outdoor area.

Radcliffe Borough Community Sports Complex in Stainton Park, Pilkington Road offers coaching courses in football/rugby/net ball/hockey.

Radcliffe Pool is 25m with a teaching pool, activity room, gym and sauna. Crèche facilities are also available and if you fancy a spin, there’s the Radcliffe Cricket Club on Unsworth St.

Bury offers a wide range of entertainment, cultural and modern leisure facilities. Vue Bury is just off the M66 and The Met Arts Centre is a live venue in the heart of the town. Bury Art Gallery & Museum is nearby.
Shopping
Radcliffe offers both traditional and specialist shopping in the town. The indoor market is open
Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Nearby Bury has the largest market in the North West and is open Wednesdays, Fridays and
Saturdays, for quality products and bargains. It’s estimated 250,000 shoppers visit every week and it’s a destination for day-trippers and coach tours.

Mill Gate Shopping Centre is adjacent to The Market.
