Exchange

If you’d like to move to a home outside of an Irwell Valley area, our mutual exchange programme can help. This scheme allows a resident of a housing association, such as Irwell Valley, to swap their home with another housing association resident from a different area of the country who is also looking to move. For more information on mutual exchanges, contact your local Irwell Valley office.

Transfer

If you need a bigger or smaller home, or would like to live in a different Irwell Valley neighbourhood, you may be able to take part in our housing transfer scheme. If you’ve been an Irwell Valley resident for a minimum of six months, or 12 months on a starter tenancy agreement, have a clear rent account and haven’t breached your tenancy agreement, contact the Lettings Department on 0800 035 22 11.
