Irwell Valley manages over 7,000 homes within the Greater Manchester area, including
Manchester,
Bolton,
Bury,
Salford,
Trafford and
Tameside. We have different property types and sizes available, from studio flats to five bedroom houses. We provide accommodation for families, single people and older people.
Irwell Valley’s Lettings team help provide residents with fantastic homes; their role includes processing applications, interviewing applicants, allocating properties and signing up new residents.
The team work closely with our Local Authority partners, allocating 50% of all our vacant properties to council nomination.

Who can apply for housing?
We encourage anyone who needs rented accommodation to apply. We ensure that all applicants are treated equally, regardless of their sex, age, race, ethnic origin, disability or sexuality. While many of our lettings are made on the basis of need, local circumstances are such that we are able to let homes to a wide variety of people. If you need assistance with your application

Emergency housing
We do not have the resources to make emergency housing available. If you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, please contact your Local Authority Housing Department who will provide you with the appropriate advice and assistance.

To improve your chances of re-housing, you are also advised to apply to your Local Authority Housing department as 50% of all our lettings go to people nominated to us by Local Authorities.
