Many incidents of ASB arise between neighbours. Here are several tips to deal with low level events.
- Approach your neighbour calmly and explain the problems you are experiencing.
- Don’t shout or be abusive to your neighbour as they may shout and be abusive to you.
- If you don’t feel confident enough to approach them face to face, try writing a polite letter or note and post it through their door
- Consider if you are being reasonable
Irwell Valley and our partner agencies can do a lot to help tackle anti social behaviour but we recognise we cannot do this alone. The local community also play a very important role in helping us tackle anti social behaviour.
