They described themselves as the ‘motley crew’, but Irwell Valley HA rowed for their lives when colleagues took part in the Dragon Boat Festival Charity Race on Salford Quays at the weekend.
We didn’t reach the final, but nonetheless we won two out of three races (we’re in boat 2) and raised over £1400 for our chosen charity – Help For Heroes. Any Hawaii 5-0 Exec. Producers out there looking for a remake?
