As a registered provider of housing, we can be inspected by the Audit Commission. A housing inspection is similar to an OFSTED inspection of a school, where a group of inspectors will spend a specified period of time in the organisation - looking at our offices, homes and neighbourhoods, how we provide services and what residents think of the services we provide.
The Audit Commission carries out inspections of housing associations in 2 ways:
- A planned full inspection
- A short notice inspection (SNI)
Between Tuesday 6th October and Thursday 8th October 2009 - we were subject to a short notice inspection of 3 service areas. These were our Responsive Repairs Service, Repairs to Empty Homes and Gas Servicing.
We are very happy to announce that the Short Notice Inspection awarded us with
Excellent Prospects for Improvement! To view the full report,

We worked with a group of residents to develop an improvement plan to respond to the recommendations made by the Audit Commission. To see our most recent update on the Short Notice Inspection plan, please
