For the second consecutive year, Irwell Valley Housing Association has been named one of the Top 50 Great Places to work for in the UK. The list compiled by The Great Place to Work® Institute UK in conjunction with the Financial
Times follows an employee survey of 35,000 employees across more than 200 organisations.
The FT Report which ranks the best employers in UK and Europe, defines a great place to work as “a place where the employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.”
Irwell Valley not only joins household names such as Google and Beaverbrooks on the elite list but the Manchester based company is also ranked highly in the Top 5 for Special and Unique Benefits (second only to Google), My Work Has Special Meaning and Community Contribution. The high ranking adds to an impressive list of awards and recognition for Irwell Valley, which employs 200 people, managing over 7000 properties in the social housing sector across Greater
Manchester.
Dr. Tom Manion, Irwell Valley’s CEO said, “ This is excellent news. We have improved on last year’s position and this achievement confirms the progress we are making to ensure Irwell Valley is a great place to work.”
